Firm Philosophy
We started our firm with the goal of answering a single question: How can we provide the best tax, accounting, and advisory services to our clients without burning out our people in the process? Having worked at multiple large accounting firms throughout our careers, we’ve seen firsthand the results of trying to squeeze too much work out of too few people. Some of these may sound familiar to you: disinterested employees, cookie cutter approaches to tax planning (or a complete lack thereof), clients treated as if they are one of many, mistakes that can cost clients thousands of dollars, delayed or nonexistent monthly financial reporting, clients feeling like they are an inconvenience any time they ask their CPA a question, or having to wait weeks if not months before hearing a response.
We resolved to run our firm differently. We’ve built all our processes from the ground up with the express intention of avoiding burnout in our employees while maintaining focus on client care. This allows us to provide the personalized attention and care that you expect from your CPA firm. Deciding who to entrust your financial future to, and who to ask for advice regarding your taxes, business, or personal finances, is a very intimate and extremely important process. We want all our clients, both current and future, to know that we are there as their trusted advisors and that no matter what, we can be relied upon.
This is also why, unlike many other firms, we have separate, dedicated partners and teams to oversee our client’s tax and financial accounting needs. As the business environment continues to be unpredictable, new financial accounting standards constantly go into effect, the tax code grows ever more complex, and misinformation spreads like wildfire, it has truly become impossible for one to be a master of all. Instead, each of our teams is dedicated full time to their areas of expertise. So when you have questions about putting a tax strategy in place, how to account for contracts under ASC 606, or are unsure how to better manage your business’s cash flows, you can be assured you are working with professionals whose job is to stay up to date on their practice area.
